Next Meeting of the OCCC
The OCCC has meetings during the fall and spring quarters of each year. Our chair is selected each year at the fall meeting and presides over the following spring and fall meetings.

- Reports from all colleges
[Regrets from Colin Gable and the Portland Community College CS faculty. They have a conflict on the date of the meeting.]
- Updates on computer literacy requirements and their implementation.
- Ron Tenison to present on SuperQuest and the Oregon Computer Science Teachers Association.
- Discrete Math and Exploring Computer Science high school CS curriculum discussions for Oregon.
- Changes to the AP exam for CS (CS-P).
Lunch - 12 noon - with visitors from OSU's CS faculty.
A short lunch presentation at 12:15pm - Carlos Jensen - on CS Platforms for Learning (e.g., OSWALD)
- Mitch Fry to provide training on the OCCC wiki site (occcwiki.org).
- A short discussion of the Wiki site and an expanded role for the site to function as a professional development community site where we can share curriculum resources, transfer advising plans, and host ongoing professional discussions along with the primary goal of program coordination.
- New honorary plaque for the David Swenson award; $5 contribution to Jay Bockelman appreciated.
- Nominations for the 2010 David Swenson Award (& where to send them).
- Discuss pros and cons of having common course descriptions for CS courses, and defined outcomes for them written by OCCC.
- Possibly, write descriptions for CS260, CS271, and CS275.
