Next Meeting of the OCCC

The OCCC has meetings during the fall and spring quarters of each year. Our chair is selected each year at the fall meeting and presides over the following spring and fall meetings. Here is the general template for the quarterly meetings: OCCC meeting template

9:00- 9:15: Introductions, approve the minutes of the previous meeting

9:15-11:00: News from the colleges (round table discussion)

11:15-12:00: Group topics (submit agenda items to John Blackwood)

  • Update on ASOT-CS status (in-depth discussion for afternoon)

12:00-1:00 Lunch

  • Lunch topic or catch up with colleagues

1:00-2:00 OCCC business

  • Palo Alto Networks WebEx presentation

  • David Swenson award committee (fall), award presentation (spring)

2:00-3:00 Afternoon CIS and CS breakout discussions

  • CS: Discussion items, if any, left to attendees of this breakout session

Logistics

Location/Parking/Meals:

  • Driving directions: Click [1] for detailed driving directions (Begins with Exit 189, then west off of I-5)
  • Location: Lane Community College, Building 19, Room 225, which is part of Lane's Center for Meeting and Learning. | Campus Map [2]
  • Meals: Coffee, tea, and pastries will be served in the morning; and lunch will be soup and salad.
  • Parking Passes: Parking is available in LOT B, C, or D with no permit, which are the lots closest to our meeting center.
  • Accommodations: Accommodations are abundant in the Eugene area should you need them. Open Google Maps and search using the term “eugene oregon hotels” to view available options with ratings.
